I was born in Charleston and have spent my entire life in the Berkeley County area. As a proud graduate of Berkeley High School, I've always had a deep love for my community and a desire to give back whenever I can.
My professional background is diverse and built on hard work. Over the years, I've worked in construction, earned my CDL as a truck driver, became a certified welder, and spent more than 20 years in upper management for large companies. Three years ago, while helping my employees catch up on a project, I suffered a serious shoulder injury that required extensive reconstruction and a lengthy recovery.
During my recovery, I realized I wanted something of my own. I first pursued my vehicle dealer's license with plans to open a car dealership. While searching for the right location, I discovered a growing interest in real estate. That led me back to school, where I earned my Property Management license.
After completing my licensing, I met with Mrs. Cheri Smoak to discuss opportunities in property management. During our conversation, it became clear that my true passion was becoming a real estate agent. Mrs. Smoak encouraged me to pursue my real estate license and assured me that there would be a place for me at her brokerage once I completed the process.
I went home that same day, enrolled in the required courses, and earned my real estate license. As promised, I walked back through those same doors and began my career under Mrs. Smoak's guidance. I am truly grateful for her mentorship, encouragement, and the opportunities she has provided along the way.
Today, I am proud to be part of the Palm Realty Group family. I believe the Lord has a plan for each of us and places the right people in our lives at the right time to guide us toward our purpose.
